Nominations closing soon for the 2021 Australian Training Awards
It’s not too late to get your nomination in for the 2021 Australian Training Awards. Nominations close 30 June 2021 so submit your nomination now!
The Australian Training Awards are the peak national awards of Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) sector.
The Australian Training Awards recognises and celebrates excellence and is an important mechanism for promoting the benefits of VET.
This year includes a new award category for outstanding achievement in the VET and skills sector, recognising an individual’s outstanding leadership and contribution for more than 15 years.
Individuals, businesses and registered training organisations can now nominate directly to the Australian Training Awards for the following categories:
- The Outstanding Achievement in VET and Skills Sector Award
- Australian Apprenticeships – Employer Award
- School Pathways to VET Award
- Small Employer of the Year
- Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice Award
Winners of the state or territory awards in 11 categories also go onto national nominations.
Winners from all categories will be announced on Thursday 18 November 2021 at the Australian Training Awards presentation which will be held in Perth, Western Australia.
National finalists become members of the exclusive Australian VET Alumni. The Alumni are a community of high achieving VET graduates, VET leaders, practitioners, businesses, schools and training providers committed to sharing their story of success in VET.
